The Balmoral
The spa at the Balmoral has a choice of five treatment rooms, a Finnish sauna, a Turkish steam room, a 15 metre pool, a fully equipped gym and weights room, a group exercise studio, a luxurious relaxation suite.
The range of treatments available at The Balmoral Spa is enormous: there’s a choice of seven different massages, nine facials, and 12 body treatments as well as manicures, pedicures, waxes, eyelash and eye brow tints and full body spray tan.
For those who take their fitness seriously, pilates, yoga and dance classes are held in the wooden sprung fitness room or there’s a range of weights and resistance and cardiovascular equipment in the gym, where you can also book a personal trainer. Edinburgh’s Waldorf Astoria (the Caley as it’s know to locals) has the only Guerlain spa in the UK, a fitness centre, a 12 metre swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.
There’s a wealth of treatments available at the Guerlain spa: three facials, six body treatments, waxing, tinting, eight massages, manicures, pedicures, make-up and three treatments specifically designed for men.

The spa at the Apex Hotel in Waterloo Place has a 10 metre swimming pool, steam room, sauna, fitness centre and a range of Elemis treatment rooms.
