myTOT is an online marketplace where users can buy and sell carefully curated second hand children’s goods at excellent prices and create strong communities along the way. Founded by brother and sister team Kenneth and Kirsten Bell, after realising so many parents had too many unused things once their kids had outgrown them, myTOT aims to help reduce waste and offer a cheaper solution to the often-overpriced children’s market.
With thousands of items being uploaded every month, myTOT is growing fast! One of the great services we offer in Edinburgh that has helped this growth is In the Loop. Any excess items you have, simply pop them in a myTOT bag and we’ll collect and upload them onto the app for you, free of charge.
We’re like you’re pre-loved personal assistants! This has been an amazing way to get to know users and see how people really engage in the world of second hand and the response has been huge.
Here are myTOT, we want our community to grow organically with the goal that shopping this way really does become the future. The app is all about the personal. You can create your own shop by giving it a name and a bio, message other users and collect followers. You can style your items however you’d like and add specifics to help with item searches. Everything is carefully selected by the sellers, is clean and in great condition.
Something to also shout about is our blog, which focuses on all things second hand, environmental and parenthood. This is a space where parents can find top tips, read funny opinion pieces and understand more about the environment and how shopping second hand can really help.
It’s an exciting time for the myTOT team and our users and we can’t wait to watch the platform grow.
