Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant Number One at The Balmoral, run by Executive Chef Jeff Bland, offers a luxury dining experience in sumptuous surroundings.
Situated within the iconic Edinburgh hotel located at the east end of Edinburgh’s famous Princes Street, a visit to Number One at The Balmoral is one of Edinburgh’s ‘must not miss’ luxury experiences.
Bland is devoted to using the very best seasonal Scottish produce and his passion and enthusiasm for innovation and creativity is reflected in his highly acclaimed dishes. Jeff Bland joined The Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh in June 1997 as Executive Chef and he is currently responsible for a team of 36 chefs, spread over four restaurants and bars outlets, including Number one at The Balmoral, now firmly established as one of Edinburgh’s top restaurants. The restaurant was one of the city’s first to gain a Michelin star in 2003 and has retained ever since.
Number One was fully refurbished last year and now has a contemporary and warm style, which is complemented by the artwork hung on its stunning red lacquered walls.
