The National Museum of Scotland opens its doors late during the Festival

Museum After Hours - Friday Fringe TakeoverMuseum After Hours evenings taking place on Fridays at The National Museum of Scotland during the Fringe Festival are a really fun way to explore the museum with friends.

As well as seeing the Museum’s galleries and the latest exhibitions, there is always a selection of  performers, music, cabaret, music and bars. Visitors to Museum After Hours can wander around enjoying the exhibits and performances – seeing the magnificent venue in a whole new light.

These nights at the museum are adult only events which are guest-programmed by the festival gurus at The List. Check out this montage of the first ever Museum After Hours Friday Fringe Takeover event back in 2014 to get a flavour of the evenings:
